Tale of a tribe

Four readings of Genipapo drawings made by Kadiweus and Yawanawa indigenous tribes on the artist’s body.

Different mixes of Genipapo, Urucum and shells pigments were explored and tested on Curauá paper.

Familiarity with these drawings and their meanings led the artist to gather these and other Kadiweus patterns for the composition of a story very present in the artist's life.

The artwork Tale of Tribe reports the importance of being present and firm in its purpose to be connected with Nature and the Universe.
